They move between the Basilicata and Campania, between Sicily and Calabria, looking for a job that will last even the space of a few months. The so-called 'seasonal workers' come from countries devastated by years of civil war. But in Italy are also required to pay five euro a day to pick melons, tomatoes, grapes, olives and oranges. And to wander among the regions of the South in search of richer harvest. To tell the human conditions and social environments in which they live 'illegal agriculture', Michele Palazzi (Prospekt) and Alexander I (OnOff) have reconstructed and documented travel, routes, working in the fields. Their documentary, 'Migrant Workers' Journey', consists of photographs and videos depicting the dignity of those who, despite not having rights, is willing to work up to 12 hours a day for just 25 €. In the following images, the preview will be presented Feb. 21 at the Gallery Host FOTO8 in London, at the Carousel - Slide Slam.
