Italy is the tenth out of 31 countries considered in the survey on integration policies. It is classified by MIPEX III, the most extensive research on European immigration laws, presented in Brussels yesterday and that it considers, in addition to the countries of the Union including Norway, Switzerland, Canada and the USA.
This result, although not among the worst, it indicates the large Italian rulers room for improvement particularly in relation to policies aimed at promoting political participation, education, targeted support within the labor market and the removal of discrimination.
