Families with foreigners residing mainly in the north-west (32.9 percent), Center (27.3 percent) and in the Northeast (24.3 percent) and are composed individuals younger than households of only Italians (the average age is 30 years, against 43). In addition, although the average size of these families is not very different from that of the families of Italian (2.44 against 2.38), it is more often than single people (35.5 percent vs. 30.9 percent) and families of five members or more (9.1 percent vs. 4.7 percent).
