The share of inputs allowed in the country in the decree of seasonal flows 2011 includes non-seasonal employees

Community of Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia-Herzegovina, former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Republic of the Philippines, Kosovo, Croatia, India, Ghana, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Ukraine, the Gambia, Niger and Nigeria;

seasonal foreign workers of the following non-EU countries which have signed or are about to sign agreements on cooperation in migration: Tunisia, Albania, Morocco, Moldova and Egypt.

The same provision also allows entry to non-EU workers who are nationals of the countries listed above, they were used in Italy to provide seasonal employment for at least two years consecutive, for which the employer submits a request for authorization for seasonal employment years.

The Report of the Ministry of Labour and Social Policies, Italy Lavoro SpA commissioned and completed by Ptolemy Srl studies and research under the coordination of Prof. Paul Feltrin, attempts to conduct an analysis of trends in the foreign population in Italy, but at the same time to use the statistical information available to set up a permanent monitoring of trends.

During the press conference were also discussed activities and programs that the Ministry is implementing along the lines dictated by the 'Plan for the integration in security: identity and encounter' approved by the Council of Ministers June 10, 2010.

Families with foreigners: indicators of economic hardship

the end of 2009, foreign nationals residing in Italy there are 4 million and 235 thousand, equivalent to about 7 percent of the total population in households where there is at least one foreigner instead amounted to 2 million and 74 thousand (8.3 percent). In addition, the proportion of mixed families (composed both by Italians, and foreigners) on the total of those with foreigners - an indicator of the degree of integration into the indigenous community - is equal to 22.6 percent. Families with foreigners residing mainly in the north-west (32.9 percent), Center (27.3 percent) and in the Northeast (24.3 percent) and are composed individuals younger than households of only Italians (the average age is 30 years, against 43). In addition, although the average size of these families is not very different from that of the families of Italian (2.44 against 2.38), it is more often than single people (35.5 percent vs. 30.9 percent) and families of five members or more (9.1 percent vs. 4.7 percent).
