's still alive in me the memory of an era (haim lived a few years) when they went fishing just to spend a good time and enjoy a free day. The outcome of the struggle between dell'affascinante fisherman and his prey was due mostly to human experience, his ability to interpret the behavior of the elusive aquatic creature and the indomitable character more or less of the latter. To emerge were the anglers, who had grasped by their fathers and grandfathers the secrets to successfully resolve the joke. What I see today is something very different. Fishing unfortunately seems to have adapted to modern times. As in any other sports and hobbies, and more generally in any other sector of society, dominated by the logic of competition and of unbridled consumerism: the "must" is to win! We must always succeed at any cost in order to feel fulfilled, to shine and earn the respect of others. So even as one activity that many still consider me, pure passion and desire for healthy and relaxing nature is entirely changed, becoming more often reason of confrontation / clash between the fishermen themselves and a source of business for companies area straddling the desire to win the fans investing millions of euros in research and technology, producing materials that are lighter and churning out new products that are launched with the help of many respectable samples. From here the construction of an image attractive and irresistible to the discoveries of modern short step: products as rods, reels, etc.. become essential tools for guaranteed success in the challenge with the fish ... and especially with the rival (and more colleagues and friends!) fishermen. What about the atmosphere that reigns in many carp and venues where beautiful mountains and magnificent "fighting ships", he scrutinizes the corner of the neighbor to see if embraces the new year to all advertised the newspapers, you flaunt proudly the "spears" to launch in over thirteen unbridled hunting bang, always paying attention to bring the pots weighing not less than thirty pounds ... otherwise you know that picture! Nothing to do with the ancient outings port on the banks of a river. Society changes, adapts fishing and fishermen as well. But if we reflect a little on the changes taking place - as I try to do in these few lines - I think it is inevitable to conclude that these changes do not necessarily rhyme with things better, as continuing the work already undertaken is likely to lose pure and healthy spirit of a time, turning - see distorted - fishing in a struggle that is no longer conducted on an equal footing: on the one hand there is a fisherman "armed" with scientific and technological means infallible, and the other a simple target with a tail and gills. I'd be curious to know what was taught in the sympathetic Gramps Sampei if he had access to a battery instead of a bamboo rod! O fluorcarbon wires instead of cotton! He spent hours and hours to pass to the lucky grandchild all the wisdom gained from the experience accumulated in years?! I think not! Probably would have directed the studies submitted by one of the listed brands of the sector, published for the sole purpose to advertise the new formidable "jewel" of sport fishing. Personally I prefer Sampei we all know. I prefer the old design of fishing with his relationship with balance and respect between the parties, I prefer the friendly competition and I believe that technology should only provide aid to the experience The fisherman, without pretending to replace it in any way.
